Note:Whensharpening,settingtheheight-of-cut
orperformingothermaintenanceproceduresonthe
cuttingunits,storethecuttingunitreelmotorsinthe
supporttubestopreventdamagetothehoses.
Important:Donotraisethesuspensiontothe
transportpositionwhenthereelmotorsareinthe
holdersinthemachineframe.Damagetothe
motorsorhosescouldresult
Important:Wheneverthecuttingunithastobe
tippedtoexposebedknife/reel,propuprearof
cuttingunittomakesurenutsonbackendof
bedbaradjustingscrewsarenotrestingonwork
surface(Figure11).

1.Removethecuttingunitsfromthecartons.Assemble
andadjustthemaslistedinthecuttingunitOperator’s
Manual.Usethegaugebarfromtheloosepartskit
toadjusttheheightofcut.
2.Installtheoffsetlifthook(Figure12)tothetopof
thecuttingunitwith(2)M10–1.5bolts.Torquethe
boltsto25–30ft–lbs.(34–40Nm).Theoffsetlift
hookshouldbepositionedwithhookforward.

mountedtotheleftendandthemotormountand
drivecouplermountedtotherightendofthecutting
unit.Tomountthecuttingunitintherightfront
position,proceedasfollows:
