Thisisvegetable–oilbasedbiodegradableoiltestedand
approvedbyToroforthismodel.Thisuidisnotas
resistanttotohightemperaturesasstandarduid,so
installanoilcoolerifrequiredbytheoperatormanual
andfollowrecommendeduidchangeintervalswith
thisuid.Contaminationbymineral–basedhydraulic
uidswillchangethebiodegradabilityandtoxicityof
thisoil.Whenchangingfromstandarduidtothe
biodegradabletype,becertaintofollowtheapproved
ushingprocedure.ContactyourlocalToroDistributor
fordetails.
Note:Useofthisuidrequiresinstallationofan
OilCoolerKit,PartNo.104–7701,tothemachine.
Thisbiodegradableuidwillbreakdownquicklyifthe
temperatureexceeds180°F(82°C).

Thisuidiscompatiblewiththeelastomersused
inTorohydraulicsystemsandissuitablefora
wide–rangeoftemperatureconditions.Thisuid
iscompatiblewithconventionalmineraloils,but
formaximumbiodegradabilityandperformance
thehydraulicsystemshouldbethoroughlyushed
ofconventionaluid.Theoilisavailablein5
gallon(19l)containersor55gallondrumsfrom
yourMobilDistributor.
Note:Manyhydraulicuidsarealmostcolorless,
makingitdifculttospotleaks.Areddyeadditivefor
thehydraulicsystemoilisavailablein2/3oz.(20ml)
bottles.Onebottleissufcientfor4–6gal.(15–22l)
ofhydraulicoil.OrderPartNo.44-2500fromyour
AuthorizedToroDistributor.Thisreddyeisnot
recommendedforusewithbiodegradableuids.

FillingtheHydraulicTank
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.Makesure
themachinehascooleddownsotheoiliscold.
2.Removethecapfromthereservoirandcheckthe
levelofuid.Theuidshouldbeuptothebottom
ofthescreeninthellerneck(Figure33).

thebottomofthescreen.Donotoverll.
Important:Topreventsystemcontamination,
cleanthetopofthehydraulicuidcontainers

4.Installthereservoircap.Wipeupanyuidthatmay

Anywateraccumulationshouldbedrainedfromthe
fuellterbeforeeachuse.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurfaceandstop
theengine.
2.Placeadrainpanunderthefuellter.
3.Openthedrainplugonthefuellterapproximately
oneturnanddrainanyaccumulatedwater(Fig.26).
Tightentheplugafterdraining.
Note:Becausetheaccumulatedwaterwillbe
mixedwithdieselfuel,drainthefuellterintoa
suitablecontaineranddisposeofitproperly.
