CheckingtheHydraulicLines

WARNING
Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
penetrateskinandcauseinjury.
•Makesureallhydraulicuidhosesandlinesare
ingoodconditionandallhydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplyingpressureto
thehydraulicsystem.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompin
holeleaksornozzlesthatejecthighpressure
hydraulicuid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
•Getimmediatemedicalhelpifuidisinjected
intoskin.
Checkthehydrauliclinesandhosesdailyforleaks,kinked
lines,loosemountingsupports,wear,loosettings,weather
deterioration,andchemicaldeterioration.Makeallnecessary
repairsbeforeoperating.
Storage
Ifyouwishtostorethemachineforalongperiodoftime,the
followingstepsshouldbeperformedpriortostorage:
1.Removeaccumulationsofdirtandoldgrassclippings.
Sharpenthereelsandbedknives,ifnecessary;referto
theCuttingUnitOperator'sManual.Usearustpreventive
onbedknivesandreelblades.Greaseandoilall
lubricationpoints;refertoLubrication.
2.Blockupthewheelstoremoveanyweightonthetires.
3.Drainandreplacethehydraulicuidandlterand
inspectthehydrauliclinesandttings.Replace,if
necessary;refertoChangingtheHydraulicOiland
FilterandCheckingtheHydraulicLinesandHoses.
4.Allfuelshouldberemovedfromthefueltank.Runthe
engineuntilitstopsfromlackoffuel.Replacethefuel
lter;refertoReplacingtheFuelFilter.
5.Whiletheengineisstillwarm,draintheoilfromthe
crankcase.Rellitwithfreshoil;refertoChanging
theEngineOilandFilter.
6.Cleandirtandchafffromthecylinder,cylinderhead
ns,andblowerhousing.
7.Removethebatteryandchargeitfully.Eitherstore
itontheshelforonthemachine.Leavethecables
disconnectedifitisstoredonthemachine.Store
thebatteryinacoolatmospheretoavoidquick
deteriorationofthechargeinthebattery.
8.Ifpossible,storethemachineinawarm,drylocation.
