1.Parkthetractoronalevelsurfaceandsettheparking

brake.TurntheignitionkeytoOfftostoptheengine.

Removethekey.

WARNING

Accidentalstartingoftheenginecould

seriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.

Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch

beforeyoudoanymaintenance.

2.Lifttherearofthetractionunitandremovethetire

assemblyfromthecastorfork.

3.Removethewheelhubassemblyfromthetireassembly.

Retainthelugnuts.

269999999,thecastorwheelforkmustbemodied.If

themodicationisrequired,aDrillGuide,ToroPartNo.

112–0256–01mustbeobtainedfromyourlocalauthorized

ToroDistributor.Ifamodicationisnotrequired,proceed

toInstallMotorandHubAssembly.

1.Mountthedrillguidetotheleftsideofthecastorfork

with2bolts(5/16x3inch),4washers(3/8x7/8

inch),andnuts.Positionthecomponentsasshown

castorforkto9/16inch(14mm).

Important:Itishighlyrecommendedthatanew

orrecentlysharpened9/16inch(14mm)drillbit

useexcessiveforcewhendrillingasjammingmay

occur.

3.Movethefastenerstotheotherholesinthedrillguide

andrepeattheprocessuntilall3holesareenlarged.

1.Removethegreasettingfromthenewmotorandhub

assembly(Figure2).

2.Mountthetireassemblytothemotorandhubassembly

with4lugnuts.Torquelugnutsto70to90ft-lb(95

to122N-m).

3.Re-installthegreasettingtothehubassembly,

pointingitawayfromtire.

21. Check hydraulic oil level. 12. Loosely install the pump hose assembly to the 45 degree fitting on pump and to the lower hole in bulkhead bracket with a washer and a nut (Figure 7 & Figure 8).
