RemovingtheReelMotors
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.Lowerthecuttingunits,stoptheengine,
engagetheparkingbrakeandremovethekeyfromtheignitionswitch.
2.ReadandadheretotheinformationprovidedinGeneralPrecautionsfor
RemovingandInstallingtheHydraulicSystemComponents(page4–71).
3.Labelallhydraulicconnectionsforproperassembly.
CAUTION
Beforeopeningthehydraulicsystem,relievethehydraulicsystem
pressuretoavoidinjuryfrompressurizedhydraulicuid;referto
RelievingPressurefromtheHydraulicSystem(page4–4).
4.Disconnectthehydraulichosassembliesfromthehydraulicttings.Allowthe
hosestodrainintoasuitablecontainer.Capandplugthehydraulichoses
andttingstopreventsystemcontaminations.

5.Loosenthetwo(2)angeheadscrewsthatsecurethereelmotortothe
cuttingunitsideplate;refertoFigure70.Rotatethereelmotorclockwiseand
removethemotorfromthecuttingunit.
6.InspecttheO−ringonthereelmotorangeandreplacetheO−ringifworn
ordamaged.
7.Ifhydraulicttingsaretoberemovedfromthemotor,markthettinglocation
andorientationtoallowforcorrectassembly.Removethettingsanddiscard
theO−rings.
