Therightsideandleftsidegroomerarmsandliftarmassembliesareunique,the
remainingcomponentsarethesameonbothsideofthegroomer.
RemovingtheGroomerArms
1.Loosenpinchboltsthatsecurethefrontrollershafttothegroomerarms.
2.Removethelocknutandspringwasherthatsecuretheeithergroomerarm
totheplateassembly.
3.Removethelocknut,specialwasherandplowboltthatsecurethegroomer
armtothecuttingunitsideplate.
4.Removethegroomerarmandthefrontrollerfromthecuttingunit.
5.Repeattheprocedurefortheremaininggroomerarm.
6.Disassemblethegroomerarmasnecessary.Cleanandinspectall
componentsandreplaceitemsasnecessary.
InstallingtheGroomerArms
1.Payingattentiontotheorientationofthecomponentsforeithertheleftsideor
therightsideapplication,assemblethegroomerarmasnecessary.
A.Installthelockscrewbeforeinstallingthegroovedpin.Thegroovedpinis
usedtoretainthelockscrew.
B.Applyanti-seizelubricanttothethreadsoftheliftrodsbeforeinstalling
theadjusters.
