dethatchingunits.Donotallowadultstooperate
tractionunitordethatchingunitswithoutproper
instruction.Onlytrainedoperatorswhohaveread
thismanualshouldoperatethetractionunitor
dethatchingunits.
Neveroperatethedethatchingunitswhenill,tired,
orundertheinuenceofdrugsoralcohol.
Keepallshieldsandsafetydevicesinplace.
Ifashield,safetydeviceordecalisillegibleor
damaged,repairorreplaceitbeforeoperatingthe
machine.Also,tightenanyloosenuts,bolts,and
screwstoensurethatthedethatchingunitisin
safeoperatingcondition.
Alwayswearsubstantial,slip-resistantfootwear.
Tiebacklonghair.Donotwearloosetting
clothingorjewelry.Wearingsafetyglasses,safety
shoes,andahelmetisadvisableandrequiredby
somelocalordinancesandinsuranceregulations.
Removealldebrisorotherobjectsthatmaybe
pickedupandthrownbythedethatchingunit.
Keepallbystandersawayfromtheworkingarea.
Ifthedethatchingunitstrikesasolidobjector
theunitvibratesabnormally,shutofftheengine.
Checkthedethatchingunitfordamagedparts.
Repairanydamagebeforestartingandoperating
thedethatchingunit.
Lowerthedethatchingunitstotheground,and
removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchwhenever
themachineisleftunattended.
Ensurethatthedethatchingunitsareinsafe
operatingconditionbykeepingallhardwaretight.
Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchtoprevent
someonefromaccidentallystartingtheengine
whenservicing,adjusting,orstoringthemachine.
Performonlythosemaintenanceinstructions
describedinthismanual.Ifmajorrepairsare
everneededorassistanceisdesired,contactan
AuthorizedT oroDistributor.
Toensureoptimumperformanceandcontinued
safetycerticationofthemachine,useonly
genuineTororeplacementpartsandaccessories.
