AdjustingtheFrontWheel
Toe-in
ServiceInterval:Every100hours/Yearly(whichever
comesrst)—Checkthefrontwheel
toe-in.
Important:YouneedToroToolNo.6010from
yourToroDistributortoperformthisprocedure.
Thetoe-inshouldbe0+/–3mm(0+/–1/8inch).
Checkthetirepressuretoensurethatthefront
tiresareinatedto165to207kPa(24to30psi).
Either,addweighttothedriver'sseatequaltothe
averageoperatorwhowillrunthemachine,or
haveanoperatorsitontheseat.Theweightor
operatormustremainontheseatfortheduration
oftheprocedure.
Onalevelsurface,rollthemachinestraightback
2to3m(6to10ft)andthenstraightforward
totheoriginalstartingposition.Thisallowsthe
suspensiontosettleintotheoperatingposition.
Measurethetoe-inwiththewheelsfacingstraight
ahead.
Adjusttheridingheighttothedesiredpositionby
performingthefollowingprocedure:
1.UsingToroToolNo.6010,rotatethecollar
ontheshockabsorbertochangethespring
pre-load(Figure46).
Note:Thisiseasiertodoifthefrontofthe
machineisjackedupsothatthefrontwheels
areofftheground.
