attentiontothesafety-alertsymbol,whichmeans
Caution,Warning,orDanger—personalsafety
instruction.Failuretocomplywiththeinstructionmay
resultinpersonalinjuryordeath.

SafeOperatingPractices
Important:Thismachineisdesignedprimarily
asanoff-roadmachineandisnotintendedfor
extensiveuseonpublicroads.
Whenusingthemachineonpublicroads,follow
alltrafcregulationsanduseanyadditional
accessoriesthatmayberequiredbylaw,suchas
lights,turnsignals,slow-movingvehicle(SMV)
signs,andothersasrequired.
Thismachinewasdesignedandtestedtooffersafe
servicewhenoperatedandmaintainedproperly.
Althoughhazardcontrolandaccidentpreventionare
dependentuponthedesignandcongurationofthe
machine,thesefactorsarealsodependentupon
theawareness,concern,andpropertrainingofthe
operator,maintenance,andstorageofthemachine.
Improperuseormaintenanceofthemachinecan
resultininjuryordeath.
Thismachinehasadifferentfeelthanwhatdrivers
experiencewithpassengercarsortrucks.Sotake
timetobecomefamiliarwithyourmachine.
Notalltheattachmentsthatadapttothemachineare
coveredinthismanual.SeethespecicOperator’s
Manualprovidedwitheachattachmentforadditional
safetyinstructions.
Toreducethepotentialforinjuryordeath,comply
withthefollowingsafetyinstructions:

Responsibilities
Makesurethattheoperatorsarethoroughlytrained
andfamiliarwiththeOperator’sManualandalllabels
onthemachine.
BeforeOperating
Thismachineisdesignedtocarryonlyyou,the
operator,and1passengerintheseatprovided
bythemanufacturer.Nevercarryanyother
passengersonthemachine.
Becomefamiliarwiththecontrolsandknowhow
tostopthemachinequickly.
Neveroperatethemachinewhentired,ill,orunder
theinuenceofdrugsoralcohol.
Wearsubstantial,slip-resistantshoes.Donot
wearloose-ttingclothing,tiebacklonghair,and
donotwearjewelry.
Wearingsafetyglasses,safetyshoes,andlong
pantsarerequiredbysomelocalregulations.
Neverallowchildrentooperatethemachine.
Neverallowadultstooperateitwithoutproper
instructions.Onlytrainedandauthorizedpersons
shouldoperatethismachine.
Alwaysbeawareofwherebystandersare.
Keepallshields,safetydevicesanddecals
inplace.Ifashield,safetydeviceordecalis
malfunctioning,illegible,ordamaged,repairor
replaceitbeforeoperatingthemachine.
Avoiddrivingwhenitisdark,especiallyin
unfamiliarareas.Ifyoumustdrivewhenitisdark,
usetheheadlights.
Beforeoperatingthemachine,alwayscheckall
partsofthemachineandanyattachments.If
somethingiswrong,stopusingmachine.Make
surethattheproblemiscorrectedbeforemachine
orattachmentisoperatedagain.
Operatethemachineonlyoutdoorsorina
well-ventilatedarea.
Operation
Youandthepassengershouldremainseated
wheneverthemachineisinmotion.Youshould
keepbothhandsonthesteeringwheel,whenever
possible,andthepassengershouldusethe
handholdsprovided.Keepyourarmsandlegs
withinthemachinebodyatalltimes.
Driveslowerandturnlesssharplywhenyou
arecarryingapassenger.Rememberthatyour
passengermaynotbeexpectingyoutobrake
orturnandmaynotbeready.Nevercarry
passengersintheboxoronattachments.
Neveroverloadthemachine.Thenameplate
(locatedundertheseatassemblyontherear
panel)showstheloadlimitsforthemachine.
Neveroverllattachmentsorexceedthemaximum
grossvehicleweight(GVW).
Failuretooperatemachinesafelymayresultin
anaccident,tipoverofthemachine,andserious
