steeringandsuspensionforloose
ordamagedcomponents.
Withthesteeringwheelatthecenteredposition
(Figure45),turnthesteeringwheeltotheleftorright.
Ifyouturnthesteeringwheelmorethan13mm(1/2
inch)totheleftorright,andthetiresdonotturn,check
thefollowingsteeringandsuspensioncomponentsto
ensurethattheyarenotlooseordamaged:
•Steeringshafttothesteering-rackassemblyjoint
Important:Inspecttheconditionandsecurity
ofthepinion-shaftseal(Figure46).
