CAUTION
Iftheshieldchainsarenotconnected,the
shieldscouldrotateduringoperationand
causebodilyinjury.
KeepallPTOshieldsinplaceandconnectthe
shieldchaintothetractororPTOshields.
RemovingtheMachinefrom
theTractor
1.Stopthetractoronalevelsurface,notonaslope.
2.DisengagethePTOandengagetheparkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengineandremovethekeyfromtheignition
switch.
CAUTION
Beforeleavingtheoperator’sseatonthe
tractor,waitfortheengineandallmoving
partstostop.
4.Blockthewheels.
5.Disconnectthesafetyshieldchainsfromthetractoror
PTOshield.Securetheendofthechaintotheimpeller
sideofthePTOshafttopreventthePTOshaftfrom
comingapart.
6.DisconnectthePTOshaftfromthetractoroutput
shaft.
7.SlidethePTOshaftbackandremoveitfromthe
tractor.
8.Removethepinthatsecuresthejacktotheframepin
androtatethejackdownintoposition.
9.Securethejacktotheframepinandadjustthejackto
supportthemachine.
WARNING
Thetrailerisveryheavy.Donotdisconnect
thetrailerwithoutrstputtingdownthejack.
Personalinjurycouldoccurifthehitchdrops.
10.Removethehitchpinandclevis.
11.Drivethetractoraway.
OperatingtheTractor
Hydraulics
Allhydraulicmachinefunctionsarecontrolledbythe
hydraulicvalvethatislocatedatthefrontofthemachine.
ThePTOmustberunningwhilethemachineisinuse.This
iswhatcreatesthecontinuousuidowthroughoutthe
machine.
Important:Nevermoveahydraulicleverrapidly
betweentheupanddownpositions.Forcingahydraulic
motortoreversedirectionsinstantlywilllikelyseverely
damageit.Ifanypartofthemachinebecomesplugged
ormaterialdoesnotwanttoow,shutthemachineoff
completelyandmanuallyremovetheblockage.
Note:Thehydrauliccontrolconsolecanbeadjustedfor
comfortbylooseningtheleverontheframebehindthe
controls,adjustingthecontrolconsoleforeoraft,and
tighteningthelever.
OperatingtheMachine
1.Startthetractorandrunitatalowrpm.
2.EngagethePTOwhiletheengineisatidlespeed.
3.IncreasethePTOspeedto540rpm.
CAUTION
Shuttheengineoffandwaitforallmoving
partstostopbeforecheckingforuidleaks,
looseparts,andothermalfunctions.
4.Beforestartingoperation,surveytheareatodetermine
thebestdirectiontogo.
5.Drivethetractorforwardandtowthemachineover
theareatobecleaned.
Note:Tomaintainastraightlinewhenoperating,
sightoffanobjectintheforeground.
Alwaystrytomakealong,continuousrunwithaslight
overlaponthereturnrun.
