PreparingtheMachinefor
Maintenance
WARNING
Disconnectingthemachinefromthetraction
unitmayallowthemachinetotipbackward,
causinginjury.
Alwaysemptythehopperbefore
disconnectingthemachinefromthe
tractionunit.
1.Parkthetractionunitandmachineonalevel
surfaceandengagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutoffthetractionunitengineandremovethe
key.
3.Shutoffthemachineengine,waitforallmoving
partstostop,andremovethekey.
4.Chockthewheelsofthemachine.
5.Removethepinandrotatethejackdown.Align
theholesandinstallthepin.
6.Lowerthejacktothegroundtostabilizethe
machine.
Important:Storethemachineonthejack
standonarm,levelsurfacesothatitdoes
notsinkortipover.
7.Raisethemachinewiththejackandremovethe
pinfromthehitch.
8.Movethetractionunitawayfromthemachine.
9.Storethelynchpinandthehitchpininthe
machinehitchtongue.
Lubrication
LubricatingtheMachine
ServiceInterval:Every25hours
Beforeeachuseordaily
Thismachinehasgreasettingsthatyoumust
lubricateregularlywithNo.2lithiumgrease.Lubricate
thebearingswhenevermachineiswashedwithwater.
Dustyanddirtyoperatingconditionscouldcausedirt
togetintothebearingsandbushings,resultingin
acceleratedwear.Thegreasettingsthatyoumust
lubricateinclude:thegaugewheelbearings,the
reelshaftbearings,theimpellershaftbearings,the
jackshaftbearings,andtheleftandrighttrailingarms.
1.Wipethegreasettingscleantoensurethat
foreignmattercannotenterintothebearingor
bushing.
2.Pumpgreaseintothebearingorbushing(Figure
11,Figure12,andFigure13).
