chemicalsknowntotheStateofCalifornia
tocausecancerandreproductiveharm.
Washhandsafterhandling.
1.Unlatchandopenthebatterycompartmentcover.
2.Removethebatteryfromthebatterycompartment.
3.Cleanthetopofthebatteryandremovetheventcaps.
4.Carefullylleachcellwithelectrolyteuntilthe
electrolyteisuptothellline.
Useonlyelectrolyte(1.260SpecicGravity)tollthe
batteryinitially.
Important:Donotaddelectrolytewhilethe
batteryisinthemachine.Youcouldspillit,
causingcorrosion.
DANGER
Batteryelectrolytecontainssulfuricacid
whichisadeadlypoisonandcausessevere
burns.
•Donotdrinkelectrolyteandavoidcontact
withskin,eyes,orclothing.Wearsafety
glassestoshieldyoureyesandrubber
glovestoprotectyourhands.
•Fillthebatterywherecleanwaterisalways
availableforushingtheskin.
5.Connecta3to4ampbatterychargertothebattery
posts.Chargethebatteryatarateof3to4ampsfor4
to8hours.
6.Removethellercapsandslowlyaddelectrolyteto
eachcelluntilthelevelisuptothellline.Installthe
llercaps.
Important:Donotoverllthebattery.Electrolyte
willoverowontootherpartsofthemachineand
severecorrosionanddeteriorationwillresult.
