•TheToroProSweepcanbetowedbymostutility
tractorsequippedwithhydraulicsproducing7to8
GPM@2000p.s.i.andotationtiresforoperation
overgolfgreens.Thetractormusthaveadequate
brakesanddrawbarhitchcapacitytohandlea3500
lb.(1587kg.)trailer.RefertoTowVehicleOperator’s
Manualfortowinginstructionandprecautions.
•TheWorkmanvehiclemustbeequippedwiththe
High-FlowHydraulicsKit.Also,onWorkman
vehicleswithserialnumberspriorto900000001,the
HeavyDutyDrawbar(Model44212or44213)must
beinstalled.
Note:The4WDWorkmanmodelisthebestfor
hillyorbermedapproachestogreens.
Important:OnoldermodelWorkmanvehicles,
DoNotattempttopullthesweeperwhenloaded
withmaterial,withthestandardWorkmanhitch.
Itisonlyratedto1500lbs.andmaybendor
damagethecrosstubeaxlesupportorrear
springshackles.AlwaysusetheH.D.Drawbar
KitModel44212orH.D.FrameDrawbarModel
44213.
Important:DoNotattempttowingaloaded
sweeperwithalightutilityvehicleorrun-about.
Theydonotnormallyhaveadequatebrakes,
suspension,orframestrengthtohandlethe
weightofthesweeper.
•TrailerBrakesarehighlyrecommendedwhenusing
thesweeperinhillyterrain.Whenfullyloadedthe
sweepermayweighasmuchas3500lbs.(GVW).
Thisweightiswellovertherecommendedtowing
andbrakinglimitofmostutilityvehicles.Aspecial
trailerbrakekitisavailablefordirectinstallationwith
theWorkmanvehicle.Thiskitcouldbeadaptedto
othervehicleswitha12voltbrakelightsource.

RemovingtheHitchTongue
andHydraulicCylinderfrom
ShippingPosition
NoPartsRequired
Procedure
1.Removethepinassembly,boltandnutsecuringthe
hydrauliccylinderandhosestothehitchtonguefor
shipping.Also,cutthecabletie.Carefullylowerthe
cylinderandhosesfromthetongue.Retainthepin
assemblyandfastenersforre-use.
2.Removethepinassembly,boltandnutsecuringthe
hitchtonguetothelowershippingbracket.
3.Removethehairpincotterandhitchpinsecuring
thehitchtonguetotheuppershippingbracket.
Thehitchtongueisveryheavy,usecautionwhen
removingthetonguefromtheshippingbrackets.
4.Removethefastenerssecuringtheshippingbrackets
tothesweeper.Removeanddiscardtheshipping
brackets.
