Donotdisconnectthesafetyinterlock
switches.
Checkoperationoftheswitchesdailyto
besuretheinterlocksystemisoperating
correctly.
Ifaswitchismalfunctioning,replaceit
beforeoperatingthemachine.
Thepurposeofthesafetyinterlocksystemisasfollows:
Preventsthebrushfromrotatingwhenthehopper
isintheraisedposition.
Preventsthehopperfrombeingdumpedwhenthe
sweeperisintheoff-setposition.
Audiblealarmwillsoundwhendumpinghopper.
Donotmovetowvehiclewhendumpingthe
hopper.
OperatingTips
Beforestartingtosweep,surveyareatodetermine
thebestdirectiontosweep.
Note:Tomaintainastraightlinewhensweeping,
sightanobjectintheforeground.
Alwaystrytomakealong,continuousrunwitha
slightoverlaponthereturnrun.
Onturfareas,thebrushwillpickupturfcores,
twigs,clippings,leaves,pineneedlesandcones,
smalldebris.
Thesweeperalsogroomstheturf.Thebrush
combsthroughandliftsthegrassforauniform
cutwhenmowed.Asitcleans,thelightscarifying
actionincreasewaterandpesticidepenetration,thus
reducingtheneedforrenovation.
Important:Donotmakesharpturnswhen
usingthesweeperasdamagetoturfmayoccur.
