MaintenanceSafety
•Beforeservicingormakingadjustmentstothe
machine,shutoffthemachine,stopthetow
vehicle,engagetheparkingbrakeofthetow
vehicle,shutofftheengine,removethekey,and
waitforallmovingpartstostop.
•Chockthewheelsofthemachinewheneveritis
disconnectedfromatowvehicle.
•Performonlythosemaintenanceinstructions
describedinthismanual.Ifmajorrepairsare
everneededorassistanceisdesired,contactan
authorizedT orodistributor.
•Ensurethatthemachineisinsafeoperating
conditionbykeepingnuts,bolts,andscrewstight.
•Ifpossible,donotperformmaintenancewhilethe
engineisrunning.Keepawayfrommovingparts.
•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
•Supportthemachinewithblocksorstoragestands
whenworkingbeneathit.Neverrelyonthe
hydraulicsystemtosupportthemachine.
•Checkthetinemountingboltsdailytobesurethat
theyaretightenedtospecication.
•Ensurethatallguardsareinstalledandsecured
shutaftermaintainingoradjustingthemachine.
HydraulicSystemSafety
•Seekimmediatemedicalattentionifuidisinjected
intoskin.Injecteduidmustbesurgicallyremoved
withinafewhoursbyadoctor.
•Ensurethatallhydraulic-uidhosesandlinesare
ingoodconditionandallhydraulicconnections
andttingsaretightbeforeapplyingpressureto
thehydraulicsystem.
•Keepyourbodyandhandsawayfrompinhole
leaksornozzlesthatejecthigh-pressurehydraulic
uid.
•Usecardboardorpapertondhydraulicleaks.
•Safelyrelieveallpressureinthehydraulicsystem
beforeperforminganyworkonthehydraulic
system.
LubricatingtheMachine
ServiceInterval:Every50hoursIfthemachineis
operatedundernormalconditions,
lubricateallbearingsandbushings
immediatelyaftereverywashing.
Lubricatethebearingsandbushings
dailywhenoperatingconditionsare
dustyanddirty.
Themachinehas11greasettingsthatrequire
lubricationwithNo.2lithiumgrease.
