•Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchtoprevent
accidentalstartingoftheenginewhenservicing,
adjusting,orstoringthemachine.
•Performonlythosemaintenanceinstructions
describedinthismanual.Ifmajorrepairsare
everneededorassistanceisdesired,contactan
AuthorizedToroDistributor.
•Besurethatthemachineisinsafeoperating
conditionbykeepingnuts,bolts,andscrewstight.
Checkallboltsandnutsfrequentlytobesurethat
theyaretightenedtospecication.
•Makesureallhydrauliclineconnectorsaretight,and
allhydraulichosesandlinesareingoodcondition
beforeapplyingpressuretothesystem.
•Keepbodyandhandsawayfrompinholeleaksor
nozzlesthatejecthydraulicuidunderhighpressure.
Usepaperorcardboard,nothands,tosearchfor
leaks.Hydraulicuidescapingunderpressurecan
havesufcientforcetopenetrateskinanddoserious
damage.Ifuidisejectedintotheskin,itmustbe
surgicallyremovedwithinafewhoursbyadoctor
familiarwiththisformofinjuryorgangrenemay
result.
•Beforedisconnectingorperforminganyworkon
thehydraulicsystem,allpressureinsystemmustbe
relievedbystoppingengineandloweringimplement
totheground.
•Toensureoptimumperformanceandsafety,always
purchasegenuineTororeplacementpartsand
accessoriestokeepthemachineallToro.Neveruse
"will-t"replacementpartsandaccessoriesmade
byothermanufacturers.LookfortheTorologoto
ensuregenuineness.Usingunapprovedreplacement
partsandaccessoriescouldvoidthewarranty.
