performanceandsafety.
Inspectthebrakeshoesforwearordamage.Ifthe
lining(brakepad)thicknessislessthan1.6mm
(1/16inch),thebrakeshoesshouldbereplaced.
Inspectthebackingplateandothercomponents
forsignsofexcessivewearordeformation.Ifany
deformationisfound,theappropriatecomponents
mustbereplaced.
Checkthebrake-uidlevel;refertoCheckingthe
Brake-FluidLevel(page50).
ChangingtheBrakeFluid
ServiceInterval:Every1,000hours
RefertoyourauthorizedAuthorizedServiceDealer.

ServicePosition(page20).
3.ShiftthetransmissionintoNEUTRAL.
4.Rotateandinspectthebelt(Figure62)forsigns
ofexcessivewearordamage.
Note:Replacethebeltifitisexcessivelyworn
ordamaged;refertoReplacingtheDriveBelt
