ServiceInterval:Every100hours
Whenperformingroutinemaintenanceand/orengine
diagnostics,thetransaxlemustbeshiftedinto
NEUTRAL.ThemachinehasaNEUTRALpositionon
thegear-shiftselector,whichcontrolstheneutralin
thetransaxle.Thefollowingstepsshouldbetaken
tomakesurethattheneutralshiftleveroperatesthe
transaxleneutralcorrectly:
1.Setthegear-shiftselectortotheNEUTRAL
position.
2.Rotatethesecondaryclutch(Figure62)toseeif
itspinsfreelyintheNEUTRALposition.
3.Setthegear-shiftselectortotheFORWARD
position.
4.Rotatethesecondaryclutch(Figure62)toseeif
itspinsfreelyintheFORWARDposition.
5.Setthegear-shiftselectortotheREVERSE
position.
6.Rotatethesecondaryclutch(Figure62)toseeif
itspinsfreelyintheREVERSEposition.
7.Ifthesecondaryclutchdoesnotspinfreely,
proceedtoAdjustingtheNeutralGear-Shift
Position(page48).

spannerbar(Figure57).

correctlybyrepeatingthestepsinCheckingthe
NeutralGear-ShiftPosition(page48).
