2.ShiftthetransmissionintoNeutral,engagethe
parkingbrake,rotatethekeyswitchtotheOFF
position,andremovethekey.
3.Rotateandroutethebeltoverthesecondary
clutch(Figure62).
4.Removethebeltfromtheprimaryclutch(Figure
62).
Note:Discardtheoldbelt.

onlyallows6mm(1/4inch)beltdeectionwith
44N∙m(10ft-lb)offorce(Figure62).
5.Tightenthepivotnuthandtight,andremovethe
prybar(Figure62).
6.T orquethepivotnutto88to115N∙m(65to85
ft-lb).

AdjustingtheCargo-Box
Latches
Ifthecargo-boxlatchisoutofadjustment,thecargo
boxvibratesupanddownasyoudrivethemachine.
Youcanadjustthelatchpoststomakethelatches
holdthecargoboxsnuglytothechassis.
1.Verifythatthecargoboxislatching.
Note:Ifthecargoboxdoesnotlatch,the
box-latchstrikerislikelytoolow.Ifthecargobox
latches,butvibratesupanddownasyoudrive,
thebox-latchstrikerislikelytoohigh.
2.Raisethecargobox;RaisingtheCargoBoxto
theDumpPosition(page19).
3.Loosenthe2boltsonthebox-latchstrikerand
movethestrikerupordown,dependingonifthe
strikeristoohighortoolow(Figure63).
