Emissions Recall
Toro was recently informed by the Kohler engine manufacturer that your equipment may be
emitting pollutants in excess of the Federal emission standards (and California standards) as
defined in Title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations. These emission standards were
established to protect the public health or welfare from air pollution. In order to ensure your full
protection under the emission warranty on your equipment by Federal law, and your right to
participate in future recalls, we recommend that the equipment be serviced as soon as possible.
Failure to do so could be legally determined as a lack of proper maintenance of an equipment.
Failure to have this recall performed may cause the equipment to fail an emission inspection
verification when such verifications are required under State or local law.
