•Ensurethatthebatteriesarechargedbeforeusing
themachine;ChargingtheBatteries(page36).
•Checkthewaterlevelinthebatteries;Checking
theWaterLeveloftheBatteries(page37).
•Checkbrake-uidlevel,andaddthespecied
brakeuidsasneeded;refertoCheckingthe
Brake-FluidLevel(page45).
•Checktheairpressureinthetires;referto
CheckingtheTirePressure(page22).
•Checkthetransaxle-uidlevel;refertoChecking
theTransaxle-FluidLevel(page44).
•Checkthebrakepedaloperation.
•Checktoseethatthelightsareworking.
•Turnthesteeringwheeltotheleftandrightto
checksteeringresponse.
•Checkforloosepartsandanyothernoticeable
malfunctions.
Note:Shutoffthemachineandallowallmoving
partstostopbeforecheckingforloosepartsand
otherwearanddamage.
Ifanyoftheaboveitemsarenotcorrect,notifyyour
mechanicorcheckwithyoursupervisorbeforetaking
themachineoutfortheday.Yoursupervisormay
wantyoutocheckotheritemsonadailybasis,soask
himorheraboutadditionaloperator’sresponsibilities.

Important:Donotexceedthemaximumair
pressureindicatedonthesidewallofthetire.
Note:Theairpressureneededinthetiresis
determinedbythepayloadthatyouintendtocarry.
1.Checktheairpressureinthetires.
Note:Theairpressurerangeinthefrontand
reartiresis165to207kPa(24to30psi).
•Uselowerairpressureinthetiresforlighter
payloads,forlessthesoilcompaction,for
asmoothertheride,andtominimizetire
marksintheground.
•Usehigherairpressureinthetiresfor
carryingheavierpayloadsathigherspeeds.
2.Ifneeded,adjusttheairpressureinthetiresby
addingorremovingairinthetires.
