Note:Iftheslotintheretainerandtheholein
thespindlearenotaligned,tightenthespindle
nuttoaligntheslotandholetoamaximum
torqueof226N∙cm(20in-lb)onthenut.

applyacoatofmedium-strengththread-locking
compoundtothethreadsofthebolts.
2.Alignthebrakepadstoeithersideoftherotor
(Figure30)andtheholesinthecaliperbracket
withtheholesinthebrakemountofthespindle
frame(Figure34).
3.Securethecaliperbrackettothespindleframe
(Figure30)usingthe2ange-headbolts(3/8
x3/4inch).
Torquethe2ange-headboltsto47to54N∙m
(35to40ft-lb).
4.Aligntheholesinthewheeltothestudsofthe
hubandassemblethewheeltothehubwiththe
valvestemoutward(Figure29).
Note:Ensurethatthemountingsurfaceofthe
wheelisushwiththehub.
5.Securethewheeltothehubusingthelugnuts
(Figure29).
Torquethelugnutsto108to122N∙m(80to90
ft-lb).
