Subject: Color coding change on Raindrop
®
nozzles.
Delavan

has changed the color-coding scheme on some of their Raindrop
®
nozzles to
establish compliance with ISO 9000 standards. This effects all users of Raindrop nozzles.
The description “ISO” will be added to the part description to identify that the nozzle “in
hand” was changed to the “ISO” color coding scheme and is not of the same color coding
as utilized in the past. Only the nozzles listed below will be affected, not all nozzles
will change color-coding. If the nozzle color has not changed, there will not be an “ISO”
notation on the parts description tag. The ISO nozzles will have a black colored tip as an
additional identifier. When in doubt, refer to the number size embossed into the nozzle.
This change will take effect beginning February 1, 1997 to prevent “mixed” shipments.
Each Raindrop® nozzle has an identifying size number embossed on the back of the
head. This is the most accurate method of identifying the size of the nozzle.
