Subject: Clutch Cable breaking at the Pedal.
If the mounting tab for Clutch Cable is not properly welded to the front frame assembly, the
cable will operate at an extreme angle causing the end of the cable to bend throughout its range
of motion and eventually break near the clevis.
If a machine in the serial range listed above experiences this issue, it is recommended to replace
the Clutch Cable and Clutch Pedal with Improved Clutch Pedal Service Assembly. The
improved Clutch Pedal has a Floating Rod End pressed into the lever, and the Clutch Cable has a
redesigned clevis. Contact your authorized Toro Distributor for additional details.
