Subject: Interchangeability of Four Wheel Drive Tires.
Installing aftermarket tires to the front and/or rear of the Workman 4wd will affect the
tire diameter ratio from the front to the rear tire. The correct tire diameter ratio is
important to ensure correct operation of the 4WD clutch. Changing the ratio can also
cause the front drive wheels to be continuously locked in 4wd that may result in turf
scuffing problems and accelerated drive line wear/damage.
To avoid this issue, use the original replacement tires approved for the machine. These
tires are available through your local Toro distributor.
