Subject: Incorrect Engine Service Part Numbers.
Some of the engine service part numbers in the parts books of the above listed products
were incorrect. The chart (attached) indicates the Old parts involved and the corrected
New part numbers.
Also, the following part numbers must be used on engines with engine serial number
before 04090100 :
99-9092 Adjuster Rocker arm
99-9094 Cap-Valve
99-9103 Rod-Push
The following must be used on engines with engine serial numbers after 04083100:
112-2978 Adjuster Arm, Rocker
112-2979 Cap-Valve
112-2980 Rod-Push
This information applies to both LCG and LCD engines. The engine serial numbers
listed above were installed in 2005 or higher vehicles. Unfortunately, engines are not
installed sequentially so it is difficult to specify exact vehicle serial ranges for these 3
part number exceptions.
