torquetheplugto45to53N∙m(33to39ft-lb).

uptotheFullmarkonthedipstick.
11.Addtheoilslowlyandchecktheleveloften
duringthisprocess.
Note:Donotoverlltheenginewithoil.
12.Installtheoil-llcapanddipstickrmlyinplace.
13.Connectthebatteryandlowerthecargobed.

Every150hours/Yearly(whichevercomesrst)
Changetheoiltwiceasoftenduringspecial
operatingconditions.
1.Draintheoilfromtheengine.
2.Removetheexistingoillter(Figure34).
3.Applyalightcoatofcleanoiltothenewlter
gasket.
4.Threadthenewlterontothelteradapteruntil
thegasketcontactsthemountingplate,then
tightenthelteranadditional1/2to3/4turn
(Figure34).
Important:Donotovertightentheoillter.
5.Fillthecrankcasewiththespeciedoil(Figure
32).
6.Startandruntheenginetocheckforoilleaks.
7.Shutofftheengineandchecktheengine-oil
level.
Note:Ifnecessary,addthespeciedoilinto
theengineuntiltheoillevelisattheFullmark
onthedipstick.
