Note:Usea50/50mixofethyleneglycolandwater
forcoolant.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekey.
2.Removetheradiator-overowtankcap(Figure
51).
3.Ifthecoolantlevelislow,llthetankwithcoolant
tothebottomofthellerneck.
Note:Donotoverll.
4.Replacetheradiator-overowtankcapand
cleananyspills.
ChangingtheRadiatorCoolant
ServiceInterval:Every1,000hours/Every2years
(whichevercomesrst)
CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,the
pressurized,hotcoolantcanescapeand
causeburns.
Donotopentheradiatorcapwhenthe
engineisrunning.
Allowenginetocoolatleast15minutes
oruntiltheradiatorcapiscoolenoughto
touchwithoutburningyourhand.
Usearagwhenopeningtheradiatorcap,
andopenthecapslowlytoallowsteamto
escape.
