SUBJECT: Ignition switch rotates in dash when the key is turned to either the

“On” or “Off” positions.

SITUATION: Insufficient tension allows Ignition Switch to turn in its mount.

CORRECTION: Vehicles produced after the serial number range listed above are

manufactured with a Spacer (104-7021) and two Washers (104-

7019) that allow greater retaining pressure to hold the Ignition Switch

and prevent it from rotating in the dash. Installation instructions are

attached to this bulletin.

IGNITION SWITCH SPACER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS For Workman 1100/2100 1. Set parking brake. 2. Remove Ignition key from ignition switch. 3. Remove ignition switch from dash by un-threading outer plastic nut. (retain for use during installation) Note: Wires connected to ignition switch do not need to be removed. 4. Remove other plastic nut from ignition switch and discard. 5. Install one lock washer (104-7019) onto ignition switch body. 6. Install plastic spacer (104-7021) onto ignition switch body.
