Subject: Steering Wheel Fastener and Assembly Torque Information
This bulletin contains best practice information for correct assembly of Toro Commercial
Product steering wheel fasteners.
There is inconsistency in how steering wheels have been assembled on some
Commercial Products. This publication is intended to resolve differences in fastening
methodology by communicating standard best practice. The fastener and torque
information contained in this bulletin supersedes information contained in the setup
information section of the operator’s manual supplied with your Toro Commercial
product - if listed in the chart. If your Toro Commercial product is not listed below, refer
to currently published instruction in your Operator’s Manual for correct installation of the
steering wheel.
1. The Model Application Chart below associates a reference letter with a
Commercial Product model number.
2. Use the associated reference letter in the Hardware and Torque Chart to identify
the appropriate hardware and installation torque for the correct steering wheel
assembly.
3. Repair accordingly.

on this issue and to obtain the specified fastener hardware.
