ServiceInterval:Every100hours
Whenperformingroutinemaintenanceand/orengine
diagnostics,thetransaxlemustbeshiftedintoneutral(Figure
67).Thevehiclehasaneutralpositionontheshiftlever,
whichcontrolstheneutralinthetransaxle.Thefollowing
stepsshouldbetakentomakesurethattheneutralshiftlever
operatesthetransaxleneutralcorrectly:
1.SettheshiftleverintotheNeutralposition.
2.Ensurethattheneutralbracketisintheneutralposition
(leveltothecablemountingbracketlocatedbelowthe
shiftbracket)byturningthedrivenclutch(Figure67).
Note:Thevehicleshouldnotrollbackandforth.Ifit
does,manuallymovetheneutralbrackettotheNeutral
position.
