StoringtheBatteries
Chargethebatteriesfullybeforeplacingthemachineinto
storage.Plugthechargerintoawalloutletwhilethemachine
andbatteriesareinstorage.Leavethechargerpluggedintoa
walloutletandchargingreceptacleduringstoragetoensure
thatthebatteriesstaychargedanddonotfreeze;otherwise,
chargethebatteriesatleastonceevery3months.
ReplacingtheFuses
Thereare2fusesintheelectricalsystem.Theyarelocated
beneaththedashonthedriver'sside(Figure30).

ReplacingtheHeadlights
Beforeperforminganymaintenancesettheparkingbrake,
turntheOn/OffswitchtoOff,andremovethekey.
Releasetheretainingstrapsonthehoodandraisethehoodto
accesstheheadlights.
ReplacingtheBulbs
CAUTION
Thehalogenbulbsbecomeextremelyhotwhenin
operation.Handlingahotbulbcancausesevere
burnsandpersonalinjury.
Alwaysallowenoughtimetoforthebulbstocool
beforereplacingthem.Usecarewheneverhandling
thebulb.
CAUTION
Anysurfacecontaminationcandamagethe
headlightbulbandleadingtoitsfailureorexplosion
creatingaserioussafetyhazard.
Headlightlampsshouldbehandledwithout
touchingtheclearquartz,eitherbyusingaclean
papertowelorcarefullyholdingthebase.

1.Disconnecttheelectricalharnessfromthebulb
housingonthebackofthelamp.
2.Removetheprotectiverubberboot(Figure31).

7.Securethebulbinplacebyinstallingtheretainingring.
Note:Turnthering1/4turnclockwisetolockitin
place.
8.Installtherubberbootovertheringandbulb.
9.Connectthebulbtotheelectricalharness.
