OperatingtheLift

The1/3platformliftisdesignedtobeusedonlywith

aWorkmanVehicleandmustbemountedwiththe

wiringharness,level,decals,switchesandallinterlock

switchesinstalled.

Improperoperationofplatformliftmaycause

seriouspersonalinjuryordeath.Toreducerisk

tooperatorandbystanders:

•Readandunderstandallsafetyinstructions

inWorkmanandPlatformLiftOperator’s

Manualsandwarninglabels.

•Neveruseaplatformliftwithoutproper

trainingandauthorization.

Theelectricalcontrolsystemoftheliftrequiresthe

vehicletobeparkedonaslopeoflessthana5degree

angleandparkingbrakeengagedinordertoactivate

theliftcircuit.

Operating

1.Setparkingbrakeandchockwheels.

2.Rotatevehiclekeyswitchto"On"position.

Dependingonwhatotherattachmentsareinuse,

vehicledoesnothavetoberunningbutkeymust

be"On".

3.Climbintoplatformandsecuresafetychainsacross

entry(Figure28).
