WARNING
Chargingthebatteryproducesgassesthatcan

Neversmokenearthebatteryandkeepsparks
andamesawayfrombattery.
5.Whenthebatteryischarged,disconnectthecharger
fromtheelectricaloutletandbatteryposts(Figure6).

8.Installthepositivecable(red)tothepositive(+)
terminalandthenegativecable(black)tothe
negative(–)terminalofthebatteryandsecurethen
withboltsandnuts.Slidetherubberbootoverthe
positiveterminaltopreventapossibleshort-out
fromoccurring.
WARNING
Incorrectbatterycableroutingcoulddamage
themachineandcablescausingsparks.Sparks
cancausethebatterygassestoexplode,
resultinginpersonalinjury.
Alwaysdisconnectthenegative(black)
batterycablebeforedisconnectingthe
positive(red)cable.

theengineisrststarted,refertoCheckingthe
Transaxle/HydraulicFluidLevelinOperation.
3.Checkthebrakeuidlevelbeforetheengineisrst
started,refertoCheckingtheBrakeFluidLevelin
Operation.
