14. (For gasoline engine) Remove plug off
barb coming out of right side of motor
insert 6” piece of 3/8” heater hose on barb
with a clamp and put 3/8”-5/8” reducer on
other end with clamps. (Figure 7)
15. (For diesel engine) Remove plug from just
under thermostat housing on right side of
motor and insert 5/8” barb into thermostat
housing using thread seal. (figure 8)
16. Connect 5/8” heater hose to the 5/8” barb
from motor with clamps and tighten. May
need to trim hose to finished length.

Take plug off & install 3/8” heater hose here
Route hose around governor to
keep out of linkages
Gas Engine (Figure 7)
Take plug out & install 5/8” barb
