Using the Operation-Mode Selector Note: The machine must come to a stop before you can change the modes. Use the mode selector to change the machine operation status or to set up attachments. Setting Up Parameters Use the instructions on the screen to guide you through and select the different parameters. To access the parameters, rotate the operation-mode selector to the S position (Figure 21). Attachment Location Note: Ensure the parking brake is engaged when the operator is out of the seat when using a stationary attachment. This response is recommended when using a loader. Rate Control Maximum Transport Speed This consists of POWER CONTROL, AUTOMOTIVE CONTROL, and RATE CONTROL. This determines how the engine and traction speed are controlled. The types of rate control are as follows: This is the maximum ground speed during transport.

Work Speed Adjustment Span Three-Point Transport Position This parameter only applies to attachments with RATE CONTROL. This parameter allows the supervisor to configure the ground speed range they want the operator to have when operating a rate-controlled attachment. This range allows the operator to change the work speed but only within the range. The range can be set between 0 to 1.6 km/hr (0 to 1 mph) in 0.16 km/hr (0.1 mph) increments to maintain the exact maximum work speed.
