Installing the Switch 4 Installing the Beacon Switch 1. Remove the knockout area of the panel as shown in Figure 8. 2. Insert the beacon switch into the panel (Figure 8). 3. Connect the 8-socket connector of the machine wire harness labeled BEACON SW to the beacon switch (Figure 8). Parts needed for this procedure: 1 Beacon switch Removing the Steering-Column Panel 1. Operation Using the Beacon Align the holes in the steering-column panel with the holes in the dash (Figure 9). • To illuminate the beacon, press on the upper part of the beacon switch (Figure 10). g255049 Figure 9 1.
