Thetractionpedalisadjustedformaximumtransport
speedandreverseatthefactory,butanadjustment
mayberequiredifthepedalreachesfullstrokebefore
thepumpleverreachesfullstroke,orifadecreasein
transportspeedisdesired.
Toobtainmaximumtransportspeed,pressdown
onthetractionpedal.Ifthepedalcontactsthestop
(Figure36)beforethepumpleverreachesfullstroke,
adjustit:

1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekey.
2.Loosenthenutsecuringthepedalstop.
3.Tightenthepedalstopuntilitdoesnotcontact
thetractionpedal.
4.Continueapplyingalightloadonthetransport
pedalandadjustthepedalstopsothatitjust
contactsoragapof2.5mm(0.100inch)is
attainedbetweenthepedalrodandthestop.
5.Tightenthenuts.
ReducingtheTransportSpeed
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekey.
2.Loosenthenutsecuringthepedalstop.
3.Threadthepedalstopoutuntilthedesired
transportspeedisattained.
4.Tightenthenutsecuringthepedalstop.
