Adjustthedetentplateoftheliftlever(Figure38)if
theattachmentdoesnotoatproperly(followground
contour)duringoperation.
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andblockthe
wheels.
2.Removethe4screwssecuringthecontrolpanel
totheframe(Figure37).

mufer,andotherhotsurfaces.
4.Starttheengine.
5.Withtheenginerunningandtheliftleverinthe
FLOATposition,slidethedetentplateuntilthelift
cylindercanbeextendedandretractedbyhand.
6.Tightenbothmountingscrewstosecurethe
adjustment.

Properthrottleoperationisdependentuponproper
adjustmentofthethrottlecontrol.Beforeadjustingthe
carburetor,ensurethatthethrottlecontrolisoperating
properly.
1.Pivottheseatupward.

thecabletotheengine(Figure39).
