SettingtheTransportPosition
Completethefollowingproceduretoincreasethe
heightoftherakewhentransporting:
1.Lowertherakeandliftassemblyaslowaspossible.
2.Disconnectthechainsfromtheliftarmsand
reconnectthemhigher.
Note:Toensureproperoperationofrake,thechains
mustbereturnedtotheoriginalslackpositionbefore
commencingoperation.
InspectingandCleaningthe
RakeandTractionUnit
Whentherakingoperationiscompleted,cleanthe
machinethoroughly.Sincethismachineisused
primarilyinsand,andsandisextremelyabrasive,
thesandshouldbeushedoffaftereachuse.Ifthe
machineiscleanedfrequently,(beforethesandhasa
chancetocake),itcanbecleanedwithastreamofwater
fromahosewiththenozzleremoved.Ahighpressure
streamcoulddrivethesandintowearareaswhereit
couldactasagrindingcompound.
Note:Iftheattachmentadapterbecomesstucktothe
tractionunitadapter,insertaprybar/screwdriverinto
thepryslottodisengagetheparts(Figure12).
