EnteringandLeavingtheTrap
Whenenteringthetrap,donotlowertherakeuntilthe
rakeisactuallyoverthesand.Thiswillavoidcuttingthe
turfordragginggrassclippingsorotherdebrisintothe
trap.Lowertherakewhilethemachineismoving.
Whenleavingthetrap,startraisingtherakewhenthe
frontwheelleavesthetrap.Asthemachinemovesout,
therakewillbeliftingandwillnotdragsandoutonto
thegrass.
Theoperatorwillsoongain,throughexperienceand
practice,therequiredtimingforenteringandleaving
thetrapproperly.
AdjustingtheRakeAngle
Youcanchangetheangleoftheraketoincreaseor
decreaseitsaggressivenessinthesand.Mounttherake
pivottothebottomholesintheattachmentadapter
brackets(Figure10)forlessaggressiverakingorthe
topholesformoreaggressiveraking.
