The brakes have been set, at the factory, for optimum
performance but after use and wear, an adjustment
may be required.
Park the machine on a level surface, turn engine off
and block wheels.
Loosen jam nut on adjustment rod clevis.

Remove cotter pin and clevis pin retaining
adjustment rod clevis to brake arm.
Increase or decrease adjustment rod length by
rotating clevis. Reinstall adjusting rod clevis with clevis
pin and new cotter pin. Secure jam nut.
Repeat procedure on opposite adjustment rod
clevis.
Check adjustment and re-adjust, if required.

The lift lever detent plate can be adjusted if the
attachment does not float properly (follow ground
contour) during opertion.
Park the machine on a level surface, turn engine
off, set parking brake and block wheels.
Loosen (2) capscrews securing lift lever detent
plate to fender and frame.
Thru access hole, in front fender, insert a 3/16" hex
key into jacking screw on lift lever detent plate.

Start traction unit engine.
With engine running and lift lever in the FLOAT
position, rotate jacking screw until lift cylinder can be
extended and retracted by hand.
Tighten both lift lever detent plate mounting screws
to secure adjustment.
