Subject: No Start Condition from Corroded Starter Switch (Key Switch).
The backside of the Starter Switch is susceptible to sand and moisture thrown by the
rear wheel as it turns. Chemicals and water associated with turf maintenance can
corrode the electrical contacts and result in an inoperable Switch.
Key Relocation Kit (106-9263) is now available and can be used to reposition the Key
Switch inboard to an area that is less susceptible to the effects of chemicals and
moisture. The Kit includes a new Key Switch, decal and complete installation
instructions.
