CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,
someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengine
andseriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.
Engagetheparkingbrake,shutofftheengine,
removethekey,andsecurethecoringhead
withtheservicelatchbeforeservicingor
adjustingtothemachine.
•Alwaysshutoffthemachine,removethekey
(ifequipped),waitforallmovingpartstostop,
andallowthemachinetocoolbeforeadjusting,
servicing,cleaning,orstoringit.
•Performonlythosemaintenanceinstructions
describedinthismanual.Ifmajorrepairsare
everneededorassistanceisdesired,contactan
authorizedT orodistributor.
•Ensurethatthemachineisinsafeoperating
conditionbykeepingnuts,bolts,andscrewstight.
•Ifpossible,donotperformmaintenancewhilethe
engineisrunning.Keepawayfrommovingparts.
•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
•Checkthetinemountingboltsdailytobesurethat
theyaretightenedtospecication.
•Ensurethatallguardsareinstalled,andthehood
issecuredshutaftermaintainingoradjustingthe
machine.
