SettingtheCoringDepth
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove

with1endlinedupwiththedesireddepthof
aeration(refertothetineoverlayonthedecal).

Installtheservicelatchbeforeperformingserviceon
thecoringheadorwhenstoringthemachineformore
thanacoupleofdays.
DANGER
Ifthecoringheadisraisedandnotlatched,
itcanlowerunexpectedlyandinjureyouor
bystanders.
Anytimeyouservicethecoringhead,
includingchangingoftinesorturfguards,
usetheservicelatchtosecurecoringhead
intheraisedposition.
1.Raisethecoringhead.
2.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engine,engagetheparkingbrake,andremove
thekey.
3.Removetheclipringsecuringtheservicelatch
inthestowedposition(Figure18).
