andwipethesurfaceofthelteradaptergasket.

ltermaterial,thenpourofftheexcessoil.
9.Applyathincoatofnewoiltotherubbergasket
onthereplacementlter.
10.Installthereplacementoilltertothelter
adapter.Turntheoillterclockwiseuntilthe
rubbergasketcontactsthelteradapter,then
tightenthelteranadditional1/2turn.
11.Removetheoilllcapandslowlypour
approximately80%ofthespeciedamountofoil
inthroughthevalvecover.
12.Checktheoillevel;refertoCheckingthe
Engine-OilLevel(page36).
13.Slowlyaddadditionaloiltobringtheleveltothe
F(full)markonthedipstick.
14.Installtheoilllcapanddipstick.
ServicingtheSparkPlugs
ServiceInterval:Every200hours—Checkthespark
plugs.
Ensurethattheairgapbetweenthecenterandside
electrodesiscorrectbeforeinstallingeachsparkplug.
Useaspark-plugwrenchforremovingandinstalling
thesparkplugsandagappingtool/feelergaugeto
checkandadjusttheairgap.Installnewsparkplugs
ifnecessary.

RemovingtheSparkPlugs
1.Shutofftheengine,engagetheparkingbrake,
andremovethekey.
