SlopeOperation

whichmayresultinseriousinjuryordeath.
•Donotoperateonslopeswhengrassiswet.Slippery
conditionsreducetractionandcouldcauseslidingand
lossofcontrol.
•Donotmakesuddenturnsorrapidspeedchanges.
•Reducespeedanduseextremecautiononslopes.
•Removeormarkobstaclessuchasrocks,treelimbs,etc.
fromtheoperatingarea.Tallgrasscanhideobstacles.
•Watchforditches,holes,rocks,dips,andrisesthatchange
theoperatingangle,asroughterraincouldoverturnthe
aerator.
•Alwaysavoidsuddenstartingorstoppingonaslope.If
tireslosetraction,disengagethetinesandproceedslowly
offtheslope.
•Followtherecommendationsforwheelweightsor
counterweightstoimprovestability.
MaintenanceandStorage
•Waitforallmovementtostopbeforeadjusting,cleaning,
orrepairing.Disengagethetines,raisethecoringhead,
settheparkingbrake,stoptheengine,andremovethekey.
•Cleangrassanddebrisfromthetines,drives,mufers,and
enginetohelppreventres.Cleanupoilorfuelspillage.
