rubberbootoverthepositiveterminaltoprevent
apossibleshortfromoccurring.
Important:Makesurethereisclearance
betweenthebatterycablesandthespeed
selectorlever.Verifythatthespeedselector
leverdoesnotcomewithin1inch(2.5cm)of
eitherbatterycablewhenitismovedthrough
itsentirerangeofmotion.Donotwiretieor
tapethenegativeandpositivebatterycables
together.
WARNING
Incorrectbatterycableroutingcould
damagethemachineandcablescausing
sparks.Sparkscancausethebattery
gassestoexplode,resultinginpersonal
injury.
Alwaysdisconnectthenegative
(black)batterycablebefore
disconnectingthepositive(red)
cable.
Alwaysconnectthepositive(red)

negative(black)cable.
