MountingtheProCoreAeratortotherearofthetractor
willdecreasetheweightonthetractorfrontaxle.To
ensureadequatesteeringcontrolandstabilityitmaybe
necessarytoaddballasttothefrontofthetractor.Refer
totractoroperator'smanualforballastrequirements.
Keepallshieldsandsafetydevicesinplace.Ifashield,
safetydeviceordecalisdamaged,repairorreplaceit
beforeoperationiscommenced.Alsotightenanyloose
nuts,bolts,andscrewstoensurethatthemachineisin
safeoperatingcondition.
Whileoperatingthemachine,alwayswearsubstantial,
slip-resistantfootwear,longtrousers,hardhat,safety
glasses,andhearingprotection.Tiebacklonghairanddo
notwearjewelryorlooseclothing.
Operation
Keepallbystandersandpetsawayfromtheworkarea.
Usingthemachinedemandsattentiontoensurecontrol
ofthemachine.Rememberto:
Useonlyindaylightorwhenthereisgoodarticial
light.
Watchforholesorotherhiddenhazards.
Donottransportmachineclosetoasandtrap,ditch,
creek,orotherhazard.
Reducespeedonsidehillsandbeforemakingsharp
turnstopreventtippingorlossofcontrol.
Lookbehindtheaeratorbeforebackingup.
Ifthetinesstrikeasolidobjectorthemachinevibrates
abnormally,disengagethePTO,engagetheparking
brakeandshutofftheengine.Removethekeyfrom
ignitionswitch.Checktheaeratorandthetractionunit
fordamage.Repairanydamagebeforestartingtheengine
andoperatingthetines.Ensurethatthetinesareingood
conditionandallboltsaretight.
Beforeleavingaeratorandthetractorunattended,
disengagepowertotheaerator,lowertheaerator,and
engagetheparkingbrakeofthetractor(ifapplicable).
Shutofftheengineofthetractor.
Neverdismountwhiletractorisinmotion.Nevergeton
orofftractorwhileengineisrunningandPTOdriveshaft
isengaged.NeverstepoverPTOshafttoreachother
sideoftheaerator;walkaroundthemachine.
Parktheaeratoronahard,levelsurface;installtheaerator
storagestandsbeforedisconnectingfromthetractor.
Ifitisnecessarytoprobebelowthesoilsurface,usea
non-conductivematerialtopreventelectricalshockin
caseelectricalwiresarepresent.
Transporting
Ensurethatyouareincompliancewithallregulations
regardingtransportingequipmentonthepublicroads
andhighways.
Ensurethatallreectorsandlightsrequiredareinplace
andarecleanandvisiblebyovertakingandoncoming
trafc.
Neverallowanyonetorideonthemachineduring
transport.
Reducespeedonroughroadsandsurfaces
Independentbrakesshouldalwaysbelockedtogether
whenontheroad.
PTOShaft
ForallPTOshaftsteelparts(tubes,bearings,jointsetc.)
disassemblyorrepairs,itishighlyadvisabletocontact
yourlocalTorodistributor.Removalofcomponentsfor
repairsandreassemblymaydamagesomepartsifnot
carriedoutcorrectlyusingspecialtoolsavailableina
distributor'sworkshop.
ThePTOshaftmustnotbeusedwithouttheguards
supplied,withpartialprotectionorwithdamagedguard,
oronCEmachines,withoutthespecialanti-rotation
chainscorrectlyhooked,soastopermitthemaximum
angleofthePTOshaftwithoutbreakingthechains.
Maintenance
Beforemakingadjustmentsorperformingmaintenance
ontheaerator,shutofftheengine,stopthePTO,and
engagetheparkingbrakebeforedismountingfromthe
tractor.Ensurethattheaeratorisonthegroundor
loweredontothesafetystands.
Supportthemachinewithblocksorjacks,oronstorage
standswhenworkingbeneathit.Neverrelyonthe
tractor'shydraulicstosupportthemachine.
Placeallcontrolsinneutral,shutofftheengine,engage
theparkingbrake,andwaitforallmovingpartstostop
beforeservicing,maintaining,adjusting,orunblocking
theaerator.
Besurethatthemachineisinsafeoperatingcondition
bykeepingnuts,bolts,andscrewstight.Checkthe
tinemountingboltsfrequentlytobesurethattheyare
tightenedtospecication.
Donotcheckoradjustbelttensionwhenthetractor
engineisrunning.
Ensurethatallguardsarereplacedandthehoodis
securedshutaftermaintainingoradjustingthemachine.

thismanual.Ifmajorrepairsareeverneededorassistance
isdesired,contactanAuthorizedToroDistributor.
